in sections 22-2 and 22-4, he may revoke or suspend the permit. No such <br />revocation shall become effective until the permit holder has been notified in <br />writing by certified mail of his right to appeal the revocation decision pursuant to <br />the provisions or Chapter 3 of this Code. If a timely appeal is filed, the revocation <br />shall be effective only upon decision of the city council. Otherwise, the revocation <br />shall become effective after the timely appeal period has passed. <br />Section 18. Section 22-16 is added to Chapter 22 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code to read in full as follows: <br />Sec. 22-16. Advertising Requirement. <br />All advertising shall include the Massage Establishment Permit number, <br />Conditional Use Permit number, or Land Use Certificate number in any <br />advertisement of services appearing in any printed or electronic advertising <br />medium. The reference does not have to contain the words "Massage <br />Establishment Permit", "Conditional Use Permit", or "Land Use Certificate". "City <br />of Santa Ana permit number" or similar language will suffice so long as the <br />correct permit /certificate number is included. <br />Section 19. Section 22-17 is added to Chapter 22 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code to read in full as follows: <br />Sec. 22-17. Violation -Penalty. <br />Any person violating this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, <br />punishable by a fine of one-thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment for a <br />period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br />Section 20. Article XVIII is added to Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code to read in full as follows: <br />ARTICLE XVIII. <br />MASSAGE <br />Sec. 41-1750.
