Excel Paving Company Long Beach $3,599,250 <br />A total of seven bids were received and all were responsive. The lowest <br />bid was submitted by Alliance Street Works, Inc. for $2,986,700, which is <br />below the Engineer's estimate of $3,768,400. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed <br />project is exempt from future review. Categorical Exemption Environmental <br />Review No. 2002-10 will be filed for the project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of <br />$3,583,100 for the project (Exhibit 2).
