EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Instructor shall provide Belly Dance instruction, including basic belly dance techniques — shimmies, hip drops /lifts, <br />across the floor technique, beginning combinations and A work. <br />• The one -hour class will be open to participant 13 nd older. Instructor will teach accepted safe and <br />healthy belly dance techniques. �� <br />• The once -a -week class will be held at a time and location agreed between Instructor and the City, during 8- ) <br />week sessions. - <br />• Instructor and Parks, Recreation and Community Services staff may change the number of classes and/or <br />the days, time and/or location of the classes to be held during any session, upon mutual agreement. <br />• Instructor shall provide equipment, records and personnel necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness <br />of said instruction. <br />• Each class shall have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25, registered and paid participants. <br />• If the minimum registration has not been reached by the second class, the class may be cancelled by mutual <br />agreement of Instructor and City, with no compensation owed Instructor for any cancelled class session. <br />1 <br />FEES <br />• Each participant shall pay a 5 lass registration fee pe 8 -wee session. <br />• No refunds will be made to pa iomants after the first week o ss unless the class is cancelled by the <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. <br />• City shall collect registration fees from each participant. Instructor shall refer interested students to City <br />for registration. <br />• Instructor shall receive seventy percent (70 %) of total fees collected for the classes within fifteen (15) <br />working days after completion of each class session. City shall retain thirty percent (30 %) of the fees <br />collected. <br />• Instructor agrees that City shall he entitled to audit Instructor's records and classes to ensure compliance <br />with this Agreement and that all participants are registered. <br />• Instructor may not waive class participation /registration fees. <br />• City shall prepare class rosters and provide a copy to Instructor. Only registered participants, listed on <br />roster, may participate in class. <br />
