Hello, my name is Patricia. De Santos. I live it) our neighborhood on the corner of Alton and Olive, I have worked on safety issues in our neighborhood For many years. Some of you may know me as myself and other residents accomplished the following: - Worked on the Redistricting of Ward 4so that the residents of the south part of Santa Ana could have a uni#ied voice. - Planned and hosts several neighborhood meetings at Saddleback High School to address safety concerns in the neighborhood such as: * the encampments along the railroad tracks * the drug dealing along the bike trails adjacent and through our neighborhoods. * the encampments in the tunnels under the Alton, MacArthur, and Sunflower overpasses. * the criminals and thieves who hide in the tunnels under the, Alton, MacArthur, and Sunflower ovqpasses. * the sex and human trafficking in the tunnels under Alton, MacArthur, and Sunflower overpasses. * the problems with police jurisdictions when reporting problems in and around tile flood chantiels. Hosted Dumpster Day Planned and achieved new directionals for local school traffic for morning drop- off for improved safety for student and resident pedestrians. Contacted City representatives for improved fencing for flood channel which was approved and implemented 2024. I would like to represerit, the Southcoast Homeowners Association, To date there has not been a vote for this position. Therefore, I am stepping up to formally advocate for you and your voice in our neighborhood.
