Waste Disposal Agreement With <br />The County of Orange <br />May 4, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br />the commercial customer (3-yard bin, once per week pick up) by $4.95 per <br />month. The rate of $29.95 per ton is competitive with landfills in <br />surrounding counties. <br />The agreement provides environmental protections to the cities against <br />environmental incidents occurring at the landfills, disposal at a <br />reasonable cost and long term disposal capacity for County and City <br />residents and businesses. Staff recommends approval of the agreement. <br />FNVIRONMISNTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact in the current fiscal year or in fiscal year <br />2009-10.
