PUBLIC NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT & HOUSING COMMISSION <br />ON THE PROPOSED SUBMISSION OF THE 2008-2009 ACTION PLAN, <br />COMMENCEMENT OFTHE 30-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD, <br />UTILIZATION OF THE UNCAPPED 80% <br />HOUSEHOLD MEDIAN INCOME STANDARD <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission of the City of Santa Ana will hold a public hearing on April 21, 2009, <br />at 6 PM, at the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701, pursuant to the submission of the City's proposed 2009-2010. <br />The 2009-2010 Action Plan is prepared in compliance with federal regulations [24 CFR 91]. The Action Plan delineates proposed activfties to be funded under <br />the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME), <br />Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). It is important to note that as of the date this notice was <br />prepared, the U.S.'Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has not notified the City of the actual'~moiu~t of funds it will receive for the <br />aforementioned grants. For planning purposes, the City is utilizing current year (FY 2008-2009) grant amounts.:an`adyustment based on final 2009-2010 <br />grant amounts will be necessary when HUD publishes final numbers. Additions or reductions in funding for actiiC"nies3vill be based on allowable uses of funds <br />per respective federal regulations and amount awarded. As advised by HUD no additional notice of these chah,es will be made by the City.
