Attach additional sheets if necessary.) <br />The project involves the addition of a four story, 185-room hotel and the <br />removal of the Cinema Lofts (10,000 square feet of commercial office use and <br />15 units) and 13,871 square foot retail building consisting of 8,580 square <br />feet of restaurant space and 5,290 square feet of retail. The Cinema Towers <br />building will be moved south of its previous location (analyzed in the EIR). <br />9. Surrounding Land Uses and Setting: (Briefly describe the project's surroundings.) <br />The project site is located at the southeast corner of MacArthur Boulevard <br />and Main Street in southeast Santa Ana. East of the site is the Costa Mesa <br />Freeway (SR-55), south and east of the site is the City of Irvine and the <br />City of Costa Mesa is located to the southwest. John Wayne Airport is <br />approximately 1.1 miles south of the project site. Surrounding land uses <br />include residential, office and commercial/retail. <br />10.
