COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Tinaiero <br />• Announced he will host a "Walk and Talk" on April 19 at 8:00 a.m., at <br />Taft Elementary and will walk the area to discuss related issues to the <br />neighborhood; he announced that this will be the first of a series of <br />"walk and talk" forums. <br />• Asked the Council to adjourn in memory of Carlos Romero, former <br />resident of the City of Santa Ana and member of the Templo Calvario, <br />also a former missionary who recently passed away. <br />Councilmember Benavides <br />• Thanked everyone for their input at tonight's Community Development <br />Block Grant Public Hearing and stated he appreciated hearing from the <br />organizations. <br />• Thanked the City residents and staff for their support during the recent <br />passing of his father, Eduardo Benavides; he discussed the inspiration <br />and guidance his father provided him. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Alvarez <br />• Asked the Council to adjourn in memory of Richard O'Neill and spoke <br />of the leadership he provided to Orange County and the many lives he <br />touched. She detailed his strengths and shared a few personal stories <br />of her memories of Mr. O'Neill. <br />Mayor Pulido <br />• Shared his memories and a few of the accomplishments of Mr. O'Neill; <br />he stated his tremendous friendship will be missed by everyone who <br />knew him. <br />• Asked that the Council also close the meeting in memory of Eduardo <br />Benavides <br />ADJOURNMENT - 10:05 P.M. to Police Community Room, 60 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana <br />In Memory of <br />Richard O'Neill <br />Carlos Romero <br />Eduardo Benavides <br />l.. <br />-(~~Patricia E.
