Section 421 of the Charter requires the City Manager <br />to report to the City Council quarterly on the contracts entered into <br />under his authority for informational purposes. The report is required to <br />include the names of contractors and the amounts of each contract. <br />Exhibit A is a listing of all purchase orders, agreements and change <br />notices entered into between January 1 and March 31, 2009 valued at <br />amounts between $500 and $25,000. Unless included under a blanket <br />contract, the City as a general rule does not purchase goods or services <br />valued at under $500 through either a purchase order or an agreement. <br />Purchase orders and service agreements valued at greater than $25,000 <br />require approval by the City Council. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Catherine S ndifor <br />Assistant City Manager <br />City Manager's Office <br />19D-1 <br />
