The service includes the review and monitoring of federal <br />executive proposals and legislation, as well as administrative rules and <br />regulations that may affect the City. The Ferguson Group also assists the <br />City with grant applications and other special programs for which the City <br />may qualify. <br />In the current fiscal year, the Ferguson Group assisted with appropriations <br />for the Bristol Street Widening Project, COPS grants, water well <br />rehabilitation projects, Workforce Development monies, Empowerment Zone <br />funding and arts and technology projects. This past year the Ferguson Group <br />has been instrumental in tracking the federal stimulus dollars to maximize <br />the benefit to Santa Ana and they have been equally aggressive in securing <br />energy efficient and "green" monies for our community. <br />25F-1 <br />
