eligible for PSIC funding, through a designated Planning Area; and <br />WHEREAS, the City, has agreed to act as the subgrantee representative for <br />Sub-Recipient;and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY has agreed to act at the SUB-RECIPIENT's representative <br />subgrantee; and <br />WHEREAS, CALSIEC has designated the Chief of Police and the Santa Ana <br />Police Department, Homeland Security Division ("UASI Grant Office") to provide for <br />emergency preparedness and interoperable communications; and <br />WHEREAS, the UASI Grant Office now wishes to administer FY07 PSIC Grant <br />Funds throughout the Planning Area, as further detailed in this Agreement <br />("Agreement") to the INYO/MONO COUNTY OPERATIONAL AREAS (SUB- <br />RECIPIENT)and others; <br />WHEREAS, the CITY and SUB-RECIPIENT are desirous of executing this <br />Agreement as authorized by the City Council and which authorizes the CITY to <br />prepare and the City Manager to execute the Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />I INTRODUCTION <br />§101. Parties to the Agreement <br />The parties to this Agreement are: <br />A. Representatives of the Parties and Service of Notices <br />A.
