Contract Award for Cold Water Meters <br />August 3, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on June 1, 2009 and bids were <br />solicited. A summary of the bid invitations and bids received is as <br />follows: <br />23 Invitations For Bid mailed <br />5 Invitations For Bid mailed to Santa Ana vendors <br />3 Bids received <br />1 Bid received from a Santa Ana vendor <br />Bids were received, opened on June 23, 2009, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). <br />The bids were evaluated by individual product categories. The bids <br />received from Aqua-Metric Sales Company and Badger Meter, Inc., are <br />responsive to the specifications and meet the City's requirements.
