processing and recording of the lien and providing notice to the property <br />owner as part of its foreclosure action to enforce the lien. <br />Sec. 10-232. Assessment, Procedures. <br />In lieu of recordation of a lien, pursuant to Government Code Section <br />38773.6 the City may recover its costs to abate any graffiti through <br />assessment procedures set forth in Sections 17-40 through 17-43 of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />Section 10-233. Remedies Not Exclusive, <br />Remedies provided for the enforcement of this Article are in addition <br />to and do not supersede or limit any and all other remedies provided by <br />law. The remedies provided herein are cumulative and not exclusive. <br />Section 10. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this <br />ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any <br />court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br />portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that it <br />would have adopted this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase <br />or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, <br />sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br />ADOPTED this day of , 2009 <br />Miguel A.
