2008 EMPG Project Goals 8~ Objectives <br />Applicant Name: City of Santa Ana <br />Project #t Emergency Plannine <br />Goal <br />Update emergency plans and procedures to be compliant with the Emergency Services <br />Act (which includes SEMS and NIMS). <br />Objectives <br />• Maintain a regular EOP review cycle (not more than 3 years) and maintenance <br />plan. <br />• Integrate lessons learned from after action reports for disasters into documents. <br />Procedures and processes. <br />• Participate in local and regional planning efforts such as: <br />1. Dam Evacuation Planning <br />2. Mass Evacuation Planning <br />3. Health and Medical Planning <br />4. Care and Shelter Planning <br />5. Communications Planning <br />6. Public/Private Partnerships and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and <br />recovery efforts <br />7. Catastrophic Disaster Planning <br />8. Planning for persons with disabilities and the elderly <br />Descriation• <br />Kevise EOP to include NIMS and other areas needed. Coordinate NIMS training to meet <br />current requirements. Participate in and attend emergency planning meetings as available. <br />Performance Measures: <br />Revise EOP to include integrating NIMS. Implementation of NIMS training. Afrer <br />Action Reports completed as necessary. <br />
