As such, other <br />municipal and federal agencies also rely on its intercept capability. The <br />Wire Room is currently equipped with the Voice Box III 3.6 software version <br />and equipment. The existing equipment requires extensive repair and is no <br />longer reliable. <br />In order for the Wire Room to remain operational, hardware upgrades are <br />essential. Staff has determined that JSI Telecom is uniquely suited to <br />provide the equipment upgrade and recommends approval of the recommended <br />action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Police <br />(account no. 128-355-6641). <br />~ ~~~ <br />Paul M.
