Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />The primary Jr. COP site will be the Shadow Wood Condominium Complex. This is a 90 unit condominium <br />complex. Approx. 60% are owner occupied/40% rental units. The board of directors state approx. 200 children <br />which includes approx. 50 teenagers. Issues to be addressed: Community clean up focusing on graffiti and <br />areas of disorder. Parenting issues via the Parent Academy, Mentoring and Homework Center, Group outings via <br />bus transportation, Pool safety and swim lessons, Self help Seminars focusing on crime prevention, health, job <br />training, personal safety.
