Orange County Youth Commission <br />Santa Ana, California <br />• COmmUnlty SeNICe <br />Projects such as visiting <br />senior residence homes, <br />collecting pennies for <br />Leukemia Foundation <br />(Boxing Club had a <br />Tsunami Victims Project to <br />collect shoes and jacket, <br />and graffiti removal <br />projects) <br />• Field trips such as fishing <br />trips, or swim parties, BBQ <br />Picnics, Movie Outing <br />• (The teen boxing program <br />has gone to Big Bear, <br />Magic Mountain and local <br />Museums) <br />Staff Development <br />As an organization, OCYC conducts ongoing improvement as demonstrated by <br />staff attendance at youth development conferences and workshops. These <br />seminars focus on various aspects of youth development and provide <br />professional development for program personnel. We implement best practices <br />gleaned from these sessions within our programs. <br />Positions Dedicated to this Proposal <br />0.5 FTE Project Manager <br />1.0 FTE Sports Club Director <br />0.375 FTE Case Manager <br />0.375 FTE Tutor -Regular <br />0.175 FTE Administrative Assistant <br />0.5 FTE Employment Mentoring Program Administrator <br />FISCAL OPERATIONS <br />Processing Fiscal Data <br />One copy of every incoming and outgoing-checks are made. We identify every <br />donation and grant check according to program placement in Quick Books and in <br />our Bank Register in the Check Book. So, if grant is specifically designated to <br />Boxing Club the deposit of this check amount is tagged to go to boxing club. For, <br />disbursement of grants funds we keep specific record of how the funds are <br />disbursed. So, for example: a check for ateacher/mentor wages would be <br />tagged as going to teacheNmentor wages. <br />We have Donor Perfect software to add new levels of management of income. <br />20 <br />
