CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />90A CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS -The City Manager deferred to Chief <br />Paul Walters, who provided a debriefing of his recent visit to Washington <br />D.C. to accept an award in recognition of the Police Department's support <br />of employees in the military. <br />90B CITY COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Sarmiento: <br />Commented on several events which took place over the past <br />weekend including the Fiestas Patrias, movie premiere, NAACP event, <br />and parade; noted great diversity throughout the City. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Alvarez: <br />• Announced tonight's Council Meeting would adjourn in memory of <br />Janice Lowry-Gothold, and William Timoti and provided details on their <br />contributions to the City of Santa Ana. <br />ADJOURNMENT - 6:19 P.M. to the next regular meeting of the City Council is <br />scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. for the Closed Session Meeting, <br />immediately followed to the Regular Business Meeting in the Council Chamber, 22 Civic <br />Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br />Adjourned in Memory <br />of Janice Lowry-Gothold <br />William Timoti <br />Maria D.
