Agreement, or who are in a position to participate in adecision-making process or gain <br />inside information with regard to such activities, may obtain a financial interest or benefit <br />from aCity-assisted activity of OCCTAC, either for themselves or those with whom they <br />have family or business ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter. This <br />prohibition applies to any person who is an employee, agent, consultant, officer, or elected <br />or appointed official of City, or of any designated public agencies, or the OCCTAC. <br />I. Nondiscrimination. OCCTAC agrees that no person on the ground of <br />race, age, color, national origin, religion or sex will be excluded from participation in, be <br />denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity <br />funded in whole or in part with funds received pursuant to this Agreement. OCCTAC <br />affirms that it is an equal opportunity employer and shall comply with all applicable <br />federal, state and local laws and regulations. <br />8. ASSIGNABILITY <br />None of the duties of, or work to be performed by, OCCTAC under this <br />Agreement shall be subcontracted or assigned to any agency, consultant, or person <br />without the prior written consent of City. OCCTAC must submit all subcontracts and <br />other agreements that relate to this Agreement to City. No subcontract or assignment <br />shall terminate or alter the legal obligations of OCCTAC pursuant to this Agreement. <br />9. NOTICE <br />Any notice, tender, demand, delivery, or other communication pursuant to this <br />Agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed to be properly given if delivered in <br />person or mailed by first class or certified mail, postage prepaid, or sent by telefacsimile <br />or other telegraphic communication in the manner provided in this Section, to the <br />following persons: <br />To City: Santa Ana Police Department <br />SAPAAL Program <br />60 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, California 92702 <br />and City Attorney <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza (M-29) <br />P.O.
