TLJ 10/15/09 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-XXX <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR SERVICES PROVIDED <br />AS PART OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA'S MEMBERSHIP <br />IN THE INTEGRATED LAW AND JUSTICE AGENCY FOR <br />ORANGE COUNTY FOR THE 2009-2010 FISCAL YEAR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. In 2002, the City Council authorized membership of the City of Santa Ana <br />in the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County joint powers <br />authority and approved the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />B. Expenditures for each fiscal year for participation in the Integrated Law <br />and Justice Agency for Orange County require City Council approval. <br />C. The Santa Ana Police Department has received an invoice from the <br />Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County for the fiscal year <br />2009-2010 in the amount of $74,261.00. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the <br />Santa Ana Police Department to expend funds in the amount of $74,261.00 for the <br />member agency fees for the membership of the City of Santa Ana in the Integrated Law <br />and Justice Agency for Orange County for the fiscal year 2009-2010. <br />Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this day of 2009. <br />Miguel A.
