The pavement is deteriorating
due to weather, age and heavy usage. Some of the adjacent curbs,
gutters, sidewalks and driveway approaches are also in various states of
disrepair and require replacement. This project provides for
construction of new street pavement and replacement of damaged concrete
curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross gutters, driveway approaches and curb
ramps. Once completed, these improvements will enhance the ride
quality, surface drainage and visual appearance of the streets.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on September 18 and 21, 2009,
and bids were opened on October 8, 2009. A summary of the bid
invitations mailed, the bids received, and the bid results follows.
23A-1
