Unlike the steep gables of most Tudor Revival designs, this large, two -story residence is crowned with a broad, symmetrical, medium - pitched hipped roof. In addition, be/lcast, projecting hipped roof sections anchor each end of the east - facing house. Wood shingles, exposed rafter tails, and shallow eaves distinguish the roof treatment. Exteriors are finished in smooth stucco. Decorative half - timbering and exposed beam -ends enliven upper story projections beneath the north and south raised roofs sections. Recessed, multi -pane, fixed and casement, wood- framed windows are arranged asymmetrically on the four bay fagade, either singly or in groups of two or three. A small, deeply recessed second floor window is glazed with bottle glass. Another window, located on the lower northeast corner, is distinguished by leaded glass and a segmental arched head adorned with decorative wing -like moldings.
