OCCTAC in partnership with SAPAAL has established a <br />tutoring program for children who are two grade levels below their peers <br />and an Arts & Literacy program for special education students. The <br />programs are taught by California State Credentialed teachers. The goals <br />of the programs are to ensure the children become successful in school, <br />develop self - confidence, and self- worth. This in turn increases the <br />likelihood that these children will avoid criminal activity. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Police Department's CalGRIP grant fund (account <br />no. 15514412- 62300). <br />065��L � � <br />Paul M.
