BUDGETARY MATTERS <br />AGREEMENTS <br />25A AGMT NO. 2009 -171 - REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL SERVICES - Execute <br />an amendment with Lidgard and Associates, Inc. in the amount of <br />$200,000 for a total amount not to exceed $400,000 - Public Works <br />Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to <br />execute the following agreements, subject to non - substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />25B AGMT NO. 2009 -172 - GRAFFITI REMOVAL SERVICES - With Graffiti <br />Protective Coatings, Inc. in the amount of $524,997 for a nine -month <br />period - Public Works Agency <br />Continued from the October 5, 2009 City Council Meeting by a vote of 7 -0. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Motion by Councilmember Bustamante and seconded by <br />Councilmember Sarmiento to approve alternative recommendation: <br />Renew the existing agreement with Graffiti Protective Coatings, Inc. <br />for $200,000 for a twelve month period and maintain 5 city employees <br />and 1.5 contract employees in graffiti abatement. <br />SUBSTITUTE MOTION: Councilmember Benavides motioned to <br />approve original recommendation.
