hereunder. SUBRECIPIENT must make all corrections required to bring the <br />facility/property into compliance with the law within sixty (60) days of notification of the <br />violation(s); failure to gain compliance within such time shall result in termination of grant <br />funding hereunder. <br />H. Grantor Recognition <br />SUBRECIPIENT shall insure recognition of the role of the CITY in providing <br />services through this AGREEMENT. All activities, facilities and items utilized pursuant to <br />this AGREEMENT shall be prominently labeled as to funding source. In addition, <br />SUBRECIPIENT will include a reference to the support provided herein in all publications <br />made possible with funds made available under this AGREEMENT. SUBRECIPIENT will <br />retain documentation of such recognition, which shall be available for periodic monitoring <br />by representatives of CITY or HUD. <br />I. Records to be Maintained <br />SUBRECIPIENT shall maintain all records that are pertinent to the activities <br />to be funded under this AGREEMENT. CITY shall have access for purposes of <br />monitoring, auditing, and examining SUBRECIPIENT's activities and performance, to <br />books, documents and papers, and the right to examine records of SUBRECIPIENT's <br />subcontractors, bookkeepers and accountants, employees and participants with regard to <br />said program. In the event SUBRECIPIENT does not make such records available within <br />the City of Santa Ana, SUBRECIPIENT agrees to pay all necessary and reasonable <br />expenses incurred by CITY in conducting any audit at the location where such records <br />are maintained. Such records shall include, but not be limited to: <br />applied; <br />1. Records providing a full description of each activity undertaken; <br />2. Financial records illustrating appropriate accounting principles <br />3. Records providing income and ethnicity of each beneficiary of the <br />activity being undertaken; <br />4. Records and reports (including those pertaining to race, ethnicity, <br />gender, and disability status data) that HUD may require within the timeframe required. <br />5. Records accounting for staff time and activities relating to HPRP <br />expenditures and draw requests; and <br />6. Any other records necessary to demonstrate compliance with HPRP <br />Page 15 of 28 <br />
