Set Public Hearing <br /> For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> FILE <br /> NUMBER <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> Receive and file Boards and Commissions Biannual Attendance Report. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Boards and Commissions Attendance Report is prepared biannually to <br /> inform the Council regarding member attendance at Board or Commission <br /> meetings. <br /> Pursuant to Council policy, the City Council may remove board or <br /> commission members who incur four unexcused absences within the six- <br /> month reporting period. Additionally, City Charter Section 901 <br /> provides that three consecutive unexcused absences would result in the <br /> vacation of a board or commission position. <br /> Examination of the attendance reports revealed that no current members <br /> have exceeded the limits for permitted absences. Therefore, the only <br /> action required is to receive and file the report. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> G~'1'1~= - <br /> Maria D.
