The parties entered into Consultant Agreement N-2002-048, dated February 28, 2002, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided counseling and <br />instructional services to the inmates at the Santa Ana City Jail. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />renew said Agreement for an additional one-year period. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, as previously amended, except <br />those amended in this Eighth Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as <br />follows: <br />1. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date one year, from <br />June 30, 2009, through June 30, 2010. In order to provide continuous uninterrupted <br />service, all services provided by Consultant since July 1, 2009, shall be included <br />within the Scope of Services of this Agreement. <br />2. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement, as previously <br />amended, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Eighth Amendment to <br />Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br />ATTEST: <br />(~ <br />MARIA D.
