Energy Partnership Agreement with SCE <br /> <br /> December 7, 2009 <br /> Page 2 <br /> The partnership will begin January 1, 2010 and will end on December 31, <br /> 2012. <br /> <br /> This is the City's second partnership with Edison in delivering energy <br /> efficiency information and programs to the community. Due to the success <br /> of our initial partnership, the partnership monies have been made <br /> available in this funding cycle. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br /> There is no environmental impact to adopting the proposed resolution and <br /> in approving the energy efficiency partnership agreement. However, the <br /> implementation of energy efficiency programs will enhance our <br /> environment by improving air quality, reducing pollution and conserving <br /> <br /> natural resources. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br /> The Public Utilities Commission has approved a not to exceed allocation <br /> <br /> of $1,513,163 over the next three years to the partnership agreement. <br /> <br /> This money will remain with SCE and program costs will be the <br /> responsibility of SCE. <br /> <br /> Raul Godinez <br /> Executive Director <br /> Public Works Agency <br /> 25G-2 <br /> <br />
