Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />Community SeniorServ's Lunch Program's main objective is to alleviate poor nutrition and isolation among the <br />vulnerable 60+ population in Santa Ana through a donation -based daily (Monday -Friday) lunch program at 3 <br />nutrition sites in Santa Ana. <br />The Congregate Meal Program addresses the need for older adults to have a nutritional meal. However, the <br />program is always more than just a meal. Many isolated older adults have the opportuity, through this program <br />to socialize, access other services, and give back to their community by volunteering in a safe and friendly <br />environment. For some, going to the lunch program is the only socialization they experience during the day. A <br />donation is suggested, but no one is ever turned away due to an inability to donate. <br />Five days a week, a hot nutritious lunch is provided at 3 locations in Santa Ana. <br />Southwest Senior Center <br />Santa Ana Senior Center <br />Vietnamese Community Center <br />An average of 160 participants attend daily to the lunch program among the 3 sites. <br />The average donation is $1.30 per meal among the 3 sites. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 -month <br />contract period per quarter.
