Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> ~ _r <br /> ~7`c'~c FILE NUMBER <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the <br /> attached purchase and sale agreements, subject to nonsubstantive changes <br /> approved by the City Manager and City Attorney, with the following <br /> parties: <br /> • Purchase and sale Agreement for the property at 418 N. Bristol <br /> Street, owned by 1650 So State College LLC (El Comedor Restaurant), <br /> for $1,607,105. <br /> • Relocation Settlement Agreement with El Comedor Restaurant, relocated <br /> from 418 N. Bristol Street, for $592,895. <br /> • Relocation Settlement Agreement with Bristol Chiropractic, relocated <br /> from 716 N. Bristol Street, for $230,000. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> On March 6, 2006, the City Council approved the cooperative agreement <br /> between the City and the Orange County Transportation Authority to fund <br /> Bristol Street improvements from Warner Avenue to Seventeenth Street. The <br /> first phase of the project, between Pine and McFadden, is currently under <br /> construction and is expected to be completed by July 2010. Public Works is <br /> currently acquiring property for the second phase of the project, between <br /> <br /> Third and Civic Center. <br /> <br /> To accommodate the widening for the second phase, acquisition of the <br /> <br /> entire property located at 418 N Bristol and relocation the El Comedor <br /> 25E-1 <br /> <br />
