Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> ' -<<- FILE NUMBER <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> Award a contract to American LaFrance of Los Angeles for miscellaneous repairs of fire <br /> apparatus for a three year period in an annual amount not to exceed $50,000. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The City establishes an annual list of vendors providing supplies and services required by <br /> agencies on a consistent basis. American LaFrance of Los Angeles provides parts and repairs <br /> for fire apparatus to the Fleet Maintenance division. American LaFrance is the authorized <br /> Southern California repair facility with certified emergency vehicle technicians. The vendor offers <br /> reliable service, and is the sole source location for American LaFrance trucks in California.
