COMMENTS <br /> 90A CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS -None. <br /> 90B CITY COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Tinaiero <br /> • Announced football and cheerleading season has begun and <br /> registration is taking place at various parks throughout the City; and <br /> • Thanked City Council for their efforts on Item 25E, provision for a <br /> temporary homerun fence. <br /> `Councilmember Tinajero left the meeting at 8:29 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Benavides <br /> • Encouraged the community to refer to the City's website at www.santa- <br /> ana.org for the resources available, including community calendar; and <br /> • Noted that there are over 60 neighborhood associations in the City and <br /> serve as a source for civic involvement. <br /> Councilmember Bustamante <br /> • Reminded residents of the upcoming Floral Park Garden Tour taking <br /> place on April 24 and 25, 2010; tickets are still available; and <br /> • Sent condolences to the Centanni Family. <br /> Councilmember Martinez <br /> • Gave her best wishes and condolences to the Centanni Family; <br /> • Invited all to participate in the Governor's Fitness Challenge; <br /> participation will result in an award of $100,000 for the winning school <br /> and city -City has been challenged by the City of Fountain Valley; and <br /> • Invited the residents to Town Hall meeting on April 21, 2010 from 6:00 <br /> to 8:00 p.m. at Garfield Elementary School regarding Station District. <br /> Councilmember Sarmiento <br /> • Reminded the community of the grand opening of the Tierra de las <br /> Pampas exhibit on April 17, 2010 at the Santa Ana Zoo; <br /> • Requested the Council Meeting be adjourned in honor of Rick J. <br /> Centanni; and <br /> • Noted the life and teaching contributions of Jaime Escalante. <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Alvarez <br /> • Welcomed incoming Commissioners appointed tonight; <br /> • Encouraged residents to apply to the City's Youth Commission. <br /> Contact the Clerk of the Council for more information; <br /> • Presented brief bio on Rick J.
