Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> ~ ` r' <br /> i <br /> ~_._~~~~a.-~---!`'.' ~6,! `~i~~,~-~ FILE NUMBER <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> Receive and file Boards and Commissions Biannual Attendance Report. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Boards and Commissions Attendance Report is prepared biannually to inform the Council <br /> regarding member attendance at Board or Commission meetings. <br /> Pursuant to Council policy, the City Council may remove board or commission members who incur <br /> four unexcused absences within the six-month reporting period. Additionally, City Charter Section <br /> 901 provides that three consecutive unexcused absences would result in the vacation of a board or <br /> commission position. <br /> Examination of the attendance reports revealed that no current members have exceeded the limits for <br /> permitted absences. Therefore, the only action required is to receive and file the report. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> ~ <br /> ~ <br /> Maria D.
