HILLMANN <br />MIKE JAMES <br /> <br />HOMELAND SECURITY DIVISION <br /> <br />Dear Sir or Madame: <br /> <br />The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department (Sheriffs Department), acting on behalf of the Orange County <br />Operational Area, has received authorization to begin spending of FY09 Emergency Management Performance Grant <br />("EMPG") funds. <br /> <br />The CD provided today contains the following documents: <br />City Application Form <br />Draft City Allocations <br />County Program Narrative <br />Grant Assurances <br /> <br />Transfer Agreement <br />City Claim Form <br />State Grant Guidance <br />Federal Grant Guidance <br /> <br />Please complete the following steps: <br />I. Notify Michelle Anderson if your agency does or does not intend to apply. <br />2. Complete the City Application Form. <br />o Have the Authorized Agent sign the application cover sheet (page 1). <br />o Have the City Manager sign the application form (page 2). <br />o Complete the Project Goals and Objectives, aligning your goals to those of the Operational Area. <br />o Complete the Budget Sheet. <br />o Include a completed Governing Body resolution (sample format provided). <br />3. Grant Assurances: Have your Authorized Agent sign four oril!inals of the Grant Assurances. <br />4.
