Certificate of Completion <br />All participants that complete the outlined course and its requirements will obtain a certificate <br />of completion of the Childcare Entrepreneurial program at Delhi Center. <br />' ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ <br />Application Submittal Process <br />The State license application phase is initiated immediately when clients enter the program. <br />The application is submitted after completion of the training program since trainees must <br />submit CPR/First Aid and Health & Safety cards as part of the application process. Case <br />managers assist trainees in understanding how to navigate through the State Licensure <br />Process. Typically this process takes approximately 3 months. <br />Home Visit 1 <br />The purpose of Home Visit 1 is to provide an initial assessment of the home as suitable for <br />childcare purposes in accordance to state law and health and safety practices in the home. <br />Case managers visit the home of each trainee and inspect the home using a checklist that is in <br />accordance with State law and regulations. This home visit is completed when an individual <br />has submitted an application to state licensing. <br />Home Visit 2 <br />The purpose of Home Visit 2 is to provide clients with additional support regarding childcare <br />serves the purpose of ensuring the home is ready for inspection by the state analyst. Case <br />managers walk-thru the home using the check list from Family Child Care Self-Assessment <br />Guide, reviewing all required forms, documents, files, and records to make sure they are in <br />order and posted as required by the State of California. We also insure that fire extinguishers <br />and all health and safety measures are met. This visit is completed when a trainee has <br />submitted an application and has been invited to complete process (2°d orientation and <br />fingerprints). <br />State Orientation 2 <br />Applicants who are determined to be program appropriate are then invited to an orientation <br />session in which the intent of the program and the requirements of the licensing application <br />are more fully described. <br />EXHIBIT A 4 <br />
