Poinsettia, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Hours of Operation: Monday -Friday <br />P: (714) 569-0940 F: (714) 569-0941 <br />8:30AM - S;OOPM <br />The 10,000 square foot Poinsettia facility serves as the training site fox both the basic and green <br />conshuction programs and houses job development and support services staff The space <br />provides adequate room for every#hing from classroom work to large scale building projects. <br />Founder and President Emeritus, Sister Eileen McNerney has put a great deal of effort into <br />making Uoth facilities warm and inviting learning environments. Art work adorns both buildings <br />and the classrooms inoro appropriately resemble workstations as opposed to cold institutions. <br />Taller San Jose worked closely with the City of Santa Ana during the development of this <br />program to establish this as a suitable site for a trade school. The Santa Ana City Council <br />approved this usage and provided a variance for all training activities. <br />Internet access is available at every staff member's workspace, the two computer labs utilized by <br />the Office and Medical Careers Academies and in the career centers at both facilities. Staff uses <br />Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Powerl?oint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft <br />Word, Adobe Acrobat, Raiser's Edge, OneNet Assessments, QuickBooks Enterprise Edition, <br />TimeClock, Typing Master, Centurion, Medisoft, SpringChaits, DDC, Internet Explorer and <br />Efforts to Outcomes (ETO). <br />Urange County Consef•vatiort Cotps <br />1853 N. Raymond Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92801 P: 888-641-2677 <br />Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM <br />Friday , 8:00 AM to NOON <br />OCCC's program services will be delivered in a variety of venues and locations; <br />Paid work experience will be at~various projects tluoughout the county depending on the <br />current work project assigned; <br />® All other program services (education, case management, transition services, follow up, <br />etc.} will generally be delivered at the OCCC main site in Anaheim. However, staff will <br />visit field projects and make home visits as needed to deliver case management services, <br />Occupational skills training will occur both in the classroom and in the field. Project <br />visits and field trips will be planned to facilitate incorporating work projects with <br />classroom insttliction. <br />• Street outreach and other recruitment activities will be delivered iu Santa Ana, while <br />interviews will be held at the Anaheim site, as well as the WORK Center as needed. <br />OCCC provides transportation using OCCC crew vans to OCCC work projects, provides bus <br />passes and helps to arrange car pools to assist corps members with transportation issues. In <br />addition, both daily and monthly bus passes are made available to corps members at our main <br />facility. Carpooling is also encouraged. <br />All staff members at the OCCC have Internet access though a dedicated Tl to ensure sufficient <br />bandwidth requirements. Internet usage is guided by the Internet Acceptable Usage Policy and is <br />to be used for such firnctions as procurement, research and communications.
