InGude design, materials, condition, alterations, size, setting, and boundaries.) <br /> Clad in smooth, hand-troweled stucco, this Spanish CaJonial Revival styled home is topped with a Rat roof, of which, half of <br /> the first floor roof doubles as a second floor patio. The front door is heavy wood with a small peep window cover~ad by a <br /> metal grille, and complemented with sidelights. Each sidelight, as well as the door opening is merited with an inset arch on <br /> top, and three terracotta pipes piercing the area directly above the front door. The front porch entry is sheathed with <br /> terracotfa 12'Sti2"tile, with fhree steps leading to the front landing. These steps are detailed with glazed Spanish fife in a <br /> bright blue, terracotta and white pattern. These same files adorn the capitals of two 36"fall pilasters fhat stand sentry to the <br /> front walkway. These tiles also cover file exterior stai?t:ase leading to the second floor dent that is present just to the left of <br /> the h~onf door landing. An arched opening highlights both the top and bottom of this exterior staircase, and a mission hell" <br /> hangs from the middle of the top arch. The Iront entry is flanked by two casement windows with three panes on each section. <br /> Another matching casement window is present on the left bay of the front facing gabled elevatron. This latter window is <br /> ornamented with a wrought iron batconet The roof of this gable is capped with clay barrel fife, as is the parapet of the first <br /> floor elevation above the front door. The second floor also has a flat roof, and is sef back from the first 11oor fagade by <br /> approximately 10 feet. AS noted, this area is used as a patio area. Fenestration pattern on the second flooris asymmetrical <br /> with a set of French doors with a shed rrwf topped with barrel tiles, a small single hung wood window just to the lelf of the set <br /> of doors, and are ofher single hung wood window aN the way fo the lelf o/ the front left upper story. Although the second story <br /> was added in 1978, it adds to fhe architectural merit, and has achieved historic significance of its own time. The house is <br /> highly intact. <br /> "P3b.
