Harper, Inc.
1312 E. Warner Avenue
Santa Ana, CA 92705
Project Description: Residential Street Repair -Phase 13
Change Order Number: 1 Estimated Amount: $52,819
Account Unit: 05817661 Account: 66220 Activity: 10672601028
Original Contract Cost: $2,777,000
°i6 of Original
Amount of The
Change Order: $52,819 1.9°?
Previously Approved -0- -0-
Change Orders:
Total Change Orders: $52,819 1.9°ib
REASON FOR CHANGE
A. Due to steepness of two asphalt concrete swales on Vance Street at Lacy and
Minter Streets, bottom of vehicles have struck and left deep gouged marks on
the pavement. This creates an uncomfortable and potentially hazardous
situation to the drivers. To eliminate this problem, it is recommended to remove
these swales and construct two concrete cross-gutters with longer transitional
lanes to reduce the steepness of the slopes leading to these cross-gutters.
ESTIMATED COST = $27,270
