D. The documents and plans furnished under the Agreement shall be of a quality <br />acceptable to the City of Santa Ana. The criteria for acceptance shall be a <br />product of neat appearance, well organized, technically and grammatically <br />correct, checked, and dated and having the maker and checker identified. The <br />minimum standard of appearance, organization and content of the documents <br />shall be that of similar types produced by the City and set forth in related City <br />of Santa Ana and other involved agencies' manuals. The Consultant shall <br />modify its work as necessary to meet the level of acceptability defined by the <br />criteria above. <br />E. The Consultant shall have a QA/QC plan in effect during the entire time work is <br />being performed under the Agreement. The QA/QC plan shall establish a <br />process which includes checking procedures for report preparation, a discipline <br />and interdiscipline check of the environmental reports and conceptual <br />engineering plans, correcting and back checking procedures, and all job <br />related correspondence and memoranda dated and received by affected <br />persons and then bound in appropriate job files. The City of Santa Ana <br />reserves the right to request proof of said documentation. <br />F. Manuals/Standards - Where applicable, engineering design of all PROJECT <br />improvements shall be compatible and in accordance with the following, but <br />not limited to: <br />• A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets (AASHTO) <br />• CPUC General Orders Requirements <br />• California Regional Water Quality Control Board Requirements <br />• Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) <br />• Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (SSPWC) <br />• Caltrans Project Development Procedures Manual <br />• Caltrans Highway Design Manual <br />• Caltrans Standard Environmental Reference <br />• OCTA Right of Way Manual <br />• BNSF Design Guidelines for Industrial Track Projects <br />• BNSF Utility Accommodation Policy <br />• SCRRA Grade Separation Guidelines <br />• City of Santa Ana Standard Plans and Specifications <br />It shall be the responsibility of the Consultant to verify that the latest version <br />and/or update of these documents are obtained. <br />G. The Consultant's work will be subject to inspections by representatives of the <br />City of Santa Ana and other involved agencies. <br />17
