P Mr. Kenny Nguyen HZ Proposal No. 10 -09 -0203 July 27, 2009 Page 2 1. 1.2 Monthly Progress Report, Schedule, and Invoice: Huitt- Zollars will prepare up to 4 additional monthly progress reports and invoices in the format agreed upon between the City and Huitt - Zollars. 2.1 TRAFFIC REPORT 2.1.1 Traffic Analysis: In addition to the scenarios outlined in the initial scope of work, the Huitt - Zollars Team will analyze one additional scenario -- Future Traffic Conditions; Long Range Year (2035) with Alton Avenue Overcrossing and HOV Drop Ramps To include this scenario in the Traffic Report, the following subtasks will be performed: Intersection Analysis: Conduct traffic volume forecasting based on OCTA's OCTAM 3.3 model and analyze 15 study intersections for the "with HOV Drop Ramps" conditions (the same intersections that have been analyzed for the Phase I project). Weave Analysis: Conduct weaving analysis between the SR -55/I -405 HOV Connector and the Alton Avenue HOV Drop Ramp for both AM and PM peak hours. HOV Ingress /Egress Analysis: Evaluate the impact of the Alton HOV Drop Ramp on the existing ingress /egress area in both directions on SR -55. Freeway Mainline Capacity Analysis: Analyze freeway mainline capacities for the following segments in both the northbound and southbound directions: • Dyer Road to Alton Avenue • Alton Avenue to MacArthur Boulevard The above described analyses will be incorporated into the Traffic Report. 3.1 ENVIRONMENTAL RE- VALIDATION 3.1.1 Environmental Re- Validation: No additional tasks will be added to the Environmental Re- Validation scope of work. The level of effort of each of the previously scoped tasks is increased to account for the larger project area. The wording of the Air Quality task is revised as shown below to respond to Caltrans request for an Air Quality Report rather than a technical memorandum.
