Refer to <br />Consent Calendar Item 19A. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />• Albert Castillo, proposed resolution to be considered by the City Council on <br />immigration human rights; <br />• Lupe Moreno, spoke on Agenda Item 85A, general immigration issues, and upcoming <br />Mexican Independence Day celebration in September; <br />• Francisco Barragan, spoke in support of Agenda Item 85A; <br />• Alfredo Amezcua, proposed economic boycott on the State of Arizona; <br />• Alex Vega, opined that the City is going in right direction and noted that immigration <br />rally over the weekend in Santa Ana was peaceful; <br />• Arturo Tolentino, requested support of City residents on immigration issues; <br />• Alex Flores, President of the Associated Students of Santa Ana College, read <br />proposed student bill against State of Arizona's SB1070; <br />• Claudio Gallegos, remarked on a public comment made at the previous meeting, <br />thanked Council for honoring Harvey Milk Day, and encouraged Council to adopt <br />proposed resolution as part of agenda item 85A; <br />• Lori Couto and Erika Sepulveda, invited all to participate in the upcoming Santa Ana <br />Relay for Life that will take place on May 22 at 12 noon; and <br />• Carlos Perea, spoke on the need for continued human and civil rights. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 6 MAY 3, 2010 <br />
