Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> FILE NUMBER <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> Adopt a resolution establishing the 2010-11 Schedule of Uniform Fees for Miscellaneous <br /> Services. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Miscellaneous Fee Resolution is comprised of various fees associated with city services, <br /> building fees and enterprise fees. These fees generate revenue for the General, Internal and <br /> Enterprise Funds. Annually, the fees and services associated with the Miscellaneous Fee <br /> Resolution are reviewed and adjusted to reflect the costs of providing these services. The FY <br /> 2010-11 Miscellaneous Fee Resolution represents these adjustments. <br /> The FY 2010-2011 Miscellaneous Fee Schedule includes the establishment of twelve new fees. <br /> These include Fire Department access lane parking citation, digital media reproduction fees, <br /> recreation reservation fees, rental of city facilities, vehicle citation sign-off, and self-nomination of <br /> properties to the Santa Ana register of historical properties fee. In addition, the fee schedule <br /> includes the motor vehicle incident mitigation fee and the public dance establishment extraordinary <br /> Police service fee which are subject to City Council approval of implementing ordinance at a later <br /> time. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> It is estimated that the proposed fee schedule will generate an additional $2.3 million in general, <br /> internal and enterprise fund revenue. <br /> APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> Francesco Gutierrez <br /> Executive Director <br /> <br /> Finance & Management Services Agency <br /> 75A-11 <br /> <br />
