RESOLUTION NO. 2010- <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND <br /> 91-066 TO EFFECT CERTAIN CHANGES TO THE CITY'S <br /> BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLANS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> A. Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br /> requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br /> classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations <br /> and the approval of the City Council. <br /> B. On August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. <br /> 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and <br /> Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> C. On July 1, 1991, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br /> No. 91-066, re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation <br /> Plan for classifications of employment designated as unrepresented <br /> Executive Management (EM) and Middle Management (MM). <br /> D. With the adoption of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-2011, the <br /> City Council authorized certain organizational, staffing, and compensation <br /> changes which affect a number of classification titles in the City's Basic <br /> Classification and Compensation Plans. <br /> E. It is now desired to amend Council Resolution Nos. 82-110 and 91-066 to <br /> effect these changes. <br /> Section 2: That Section 3 Assignment of Classes of Employment To Salary <br /> Rate Ranges of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, be further amended by: <br /> A. Adding, in alphabetical sequence, the following full time classification title <br /> at the monthly six-step salary rate range indicated: <br /> Classification Title 6-Step Salary Rate Ranae (AA-E) Effective 7/1/10 <br /> SRR Monthly Salary <br /> Minimum-Maximum <br /> <br /> Police Systems Support Analyst 706 $6542 - $8349 <br /> 75A-7 <br /> <br />
