PROPOSALS TO MODIFY EXISTING FEES <br />Proposed modifications to existing fees are fee rate adjustments to the Miscellaneous Fees Schedule. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />1) Administrative Penalty Fee Schedule <br />Administrative Penalty/Citation Fee as indicated in the Health & Safety Code, section 25514.5. These <br />penalties are set in an escalating tiered manner. The Health & Safety Code “class II” violation is the Fire <br />stnd <br />Department’s “1 Administrative Citation.” The “class I” violation is the Fire Department’s “2 <br />Administrative Citation.” Each penalty in either “class” is for each day the violation(s) occurs. The “new” <br />fees are due to changes in the California Health & Safety Code. <br />The citations listed below shall be issued for the following violations on a per day basis: <br />a.Failure to electronically submit annual certification by specified date. <br />Existing Fee: $0.00 - new <br />Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />b.Failure to establish and or implement a Business Emergency Plan (H & S Code Sec 25503.5) <br />Existing Fee: $392.50 <br />Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />c.Failure to provide a complete Business Plan (H & S Code Sec 25504) <br />Existing Fee: $235.75 <br />Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />d.Failure to complete annual inventory forms (H & S Code Sec 25504 a & 25509) <br />Existing Fee: $235.75 <br />Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />e.Emergency Response Plan absent or incomplete (H & S Code Sec 25504 b) <br /> Existing Fee: $0.00 - new <br /> Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />f.Employee training program is inadequate (H & S Code Sec 25504 c) <br /> Existing Fee: $0.00 - new <br /> Proposed Fee: $2,000 - class II / $5,000 – class I <br />71 <br />
