OS-3195 West Pump Station Facilities Upgrades <br /> PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT AGREEMENT <br /> BIDDER'S STATEMENT REGARDING APPRENTICESHIP REQUIREMENTS <br /> The undersigned Bidder is familiar with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor Code <br /> regarding employment of apprentices, and understands that contractors on contracts exceeding <br /> $30,000 or 20 working days shall: <br /> 1. Apply to the joint apprenticeship committee administering the apprenticeship standards of <br /> the craft or trade in the area of the site of the public work for a certificate approving the contractor <br /> under the apprenticeship standards for the employment and training of apprentices in the area or <br /> industry affected. <br /> 2. Employ the number of apprentices or the ratio of apprentices to journeymen stipulated in the <br /> apprenticeship standards. <br /> 3.
