INSURANCE ON WORK MAYPROCEEYL A-2008-048-01 UNTIL INSURANCE LERK � ppUNC� _ FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT naTl 6-8-15 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on March 16, 2010, by and between URS CORPORATION, a Nevada corporation ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). RECITALS: A. The parties entered into that Agreement A-2008-048, dated March 3, 2008, (hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided environmental assessment services in relation to the Grand Avenue Widening Project. B. On June 2, 2008, the City Council approved a list of prequalified environmental consultants with which the various City departments are authorized to contract for environmental review services. Consultant is included on the prequalified consultant list. C. Consultant completed the NEPA Environmental Assessment and CEQA Addendum for the Grand Avenue Widening Project, submitted for Caltrans review and is required to prepared additional technical studies not included in the original Scope of Work. D. Since the submission of the NEPA Environmental Assessment and CEQA Addendum, the project description has been revised, requiring an update of completed technical studies and updating both the NEPA Environmental Assessment and CEQA Addendum. E. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to amend the Scope of Work to include additional and updated technical studies and updates of the NEPA Environmental Assessment and CEQA Addendum, and an increase in compensation to pay for the additional services. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: 1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to include those services set forth in Consultant's Proposal dated March 9, 2010, attached hereto as Exhibit A-1, and incorporated by this reference.
