Implementing Resolution <br /> ? Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> FILE NUMBER <br /> CIT MANAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> 1. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute agreements with the following <br /> Youth Program Operators for Program Year 2010-11 for a total of $1,080,025 for the period of <br /> July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br /> Manager and City Attorney: <br /> a. Orange County Conservation Corps to provide tutoring, alternate secondary school <br /> services, work experience, occupational skills training, leadership development, <br /> supportive services, mentoring, job preparation, and placement assistance for twenty- <br /> three Out-of-School Youth in the amount of $285,124; <br /> b. Orange County Youth Commission to provide tutoring, work experience, mentoring, <br /> supportive services, and job preparation for ten In-School Youth and ten Out-of-School <br /> Youth in the amount of $141,828; <br /> c. Taller San Jose to provide work experience, occupational skills training, supportive <br /> services, counseling, job preparation, and placement to twenty Out-of-School Youth in <br /> the amount of $168,759; <br /> d. Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center to provide tutoring, work experience, <br /> occupational skills training, leadership development, supportive services, mentoring, <br /> counseling, and job preparation for twenty-three Out-of-School Youth in the amount of <br /> $180,000; <br /> e. Orangewood Children's Foundation to provide tutoring, mentoring, and job preparation <br /> for twenty Out-of-School Youth and four In-School Youth in the amount of $130,814; <br /> f. Santa Ana Unified School District/ROP to provide mentoring, work experience, and job <br /> preparation for thirty-five In-School Youth in the amount of $173,500; and <br /> 25K-1 <br /> <br />
