RESOLUTION NO. 2010-032 <br />Iss: 6/7/10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA CERTIFYING THAT ITS PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT <br />PLAN CONFORMS TO ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION <br />AUTHORITY REQUIREMENTS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana does find, determine and <br />declare as follows: <br />A. On November 7, 2006, the voters of the County of Orange adopted <br />Renewed Measure M, extending the half-cent sales tax for an additional <br />thirty years, to provide street improvements. <br />B. In order to be eligible for revenues generated by Renewed Measure M, the <br />City of Santa Ana must biennially certify that it has adopted a local <br />pavement management plan which conforms to the criteria stated in <br />Orange County Local Transportation Authority Ordinance No. 3. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana certifies that the City's <br />Pavement Management Plan, a copy of which is on file at the Santa Ana Public Works <br />Agency, was developed using the Micropaver pavement management system, and <br />contains the following elements: <br />A. Inventory of MPAH and local routes reviewed and updated biennially. The <br />last update of the inventory was completed May 20, 2010. <br />B. Assessment of pavement condition for all routes in the system, updated <br />biennially. The last review of pavement condition was completed May 20, <br />2010. <br />C. Percentage of all section of pavement needing: <br />Rehabilitation Replacement <br />Arterial 9% 18% <br />Local 31 % 6% <br />D. Budget needs for rehabilitation or replacement of deficient sections of <br />pavement for: <br />Current biennial period: $ 35 million <br />Following biennial period: $ 42 million <br />Resolution No. 2010-032 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
