By this Act, the Clerk was specifically required to <br />perform certain fiscal functions, and the Treasurer other ones, <br />and each was to observe the performance of the other. <br />The Clerk's duties are contained in Government Code <br />section 4081 et. seq.; some miscellaneous duties being set forth <br />in Section 37200 et. seq. <br />The Treasurer's duties are found in Government Code <br />sections 41001 et. seq. <br />5 <br />
