2. DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 2010-01 FOR THE PARK <br />VIEW AT TOWN AND COUNTRY MANOR PROJECT <br />Receive and file public comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report No. <br />2010-01 for the Park View Town and Country Manor project at 555 East Memory <br />Lane. <br />PUBLISHED IN THE ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER: April 2, 2010 <br />RECOMMENDED MOTION: Receive and file the public comments for Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report No. 2010-01. <br />Associate Planner Larry Yenglin presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Commission noted potential concerns with traffic and parking related impacts, the <br />unit mix, and cornmuriity outreach efforts for the project. Mr. Trevino indicated <br />that the public review period for the draft EIR ends April 29, 2010. <br />Chairman Alderete requested paper copies of the draft EIR appendices be <br />included with the upcoming Planning Commission staff report. <br />Principal/Regional Manager Tom Holm with Michael Brandman Associates <br />provided an update on the environmental process for the Park View project. <br />No written communications were received. <br />The public hearing was opened. No public members spoke. STAFF COMMENTS <br />Mr. Trevino welcomed the new commissioners and introduced the Rlanning staff. <br />4. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioners Acosta and Walters were welcomed by the Commission. <br />Commissioner Acosta announced he will be absent at the April 26 meeting. <br />Chairman Alderete recommended the Commission recognize the years of <br />service for Christopher Leo at a future Planning Commission ,meeting. Mr. <br />Alderete also commented on the selection of Margaret Sohagi's law firm as <br />outside counsel for the Transit Zoning Code and Station District project. <br />5.
